Advisor, instructor, manager with 15+ years of experience in Poland and abroad. He specializes in competitive strategy, market intelligence, strategic simulations (business wargaming), knowledge management. He worked for executives of several dozen major Polish companies from various industries. He also completed orders for public administration organizations.
He runs his own company OUTSMART which delivers its clients independent analysis and valuable knowledge for strategic, operational and tactical decisions. Previously (2006-2016) he worked for the consulting company EY as a director responsible for strategic market intelligence team (he supervised over 2000 projects). He started his career in telco company PLUS GSM where he managed the corporate knowledge management project (2001-2006) working in HR and IT.
He cooperates with leading business universities. He heads several post-graduate programs and development programs for executives. He is also cooperating with the best training companies and conducts training workshops. He is particularly well known for applying “active learning” methods and provoking the participants to think critically. He launched the Polish chapter of SCIP association in 2012 and chaired it till 2015. He received Catalyst Award from SCIP executive board for his volunteer services to the profession (2014).
He studied “Management and marketing” and earned his master degree at the WSE (1997-2001). He received scholarship from CEMS at NSEBA (2001). He completed PhD on knowledge management at WSE (2006). He holds detective license (2011). He continually develops his skills by participating and speaking at international conferences (ie. SCIP, ICI, ACI). He received scholarship from Fulbright and as a Senior Visiting Fellow at the National Defense University in Washington he was dealing with the effectiveness of strategic simulations in companies as well as delivering visiting lectures at many US universities and colleges.
