My 4 years of working with Abbas at Tumbleweed\Axway were thoroughly enjoyable and educational.
In addition to an engaging and friendly personality, which makes him a joy to work with and fostered a highly productive relationship with the Engineering teams, Abbas was responsible for the redesign of the MailGate UI which led to numerous awards for Usability, Ease of Use and Intuitive Design.
Using his vast experience, and comprehensive knowledge of various UE "Best Practices", Abbas successfully transformed the way our Development Team viewed Product Design -- this led to a mentality where we designed, built, tested and delivered products which were much more customer-oriented.
This was all driven by his desire to be proactive in the experience we provided our customers, rather than being reactive.
I would highly recommend Abbas for any position where he can influence UE Design in customer oriented organizations.

With deep knowledge in every aspect of UX from interaction design, usability testing, information architecture, ... he can transform and elevate any UX program single-handedly. He does this by engaging at all levels, starting from being a prolific and very talented designer, to being able to generate and promote internal processes to maximize the quality, efficiency and standardization of designs within the team, to finally being able to advocate for the UX program to the senior most management to ensure the program has the budget, respect and authority within the organization to succeed and make a significant impact on creating great products. I genuinely enjoyed working with Abbas, heavily depended on him, and highly recommend him for any company that is passionate about user experience and focused on building products customers will love.
