I managed internet advertising budgets of nearly $200,000 a month with our SaaS startup, When I Work. I was able to work with several PPC agencies and saw the good and bad of each agency, how to manage them, which ads and campaigns convert the best, and how to lower the CPA (Cost Per Acquisition).
I directly worked with an agency to build up our content efforts before bringing it in house. I worked with our Content Manager to create a plan that has brought us over 100,000 blog visitors a month to our SaaS startup, When I Work.

We had a TON of luck by targeting them on facebook ads. Depending on your budget - there are millions of them in USA alone. The targeting option that we set in the facebook ads platform was "Small Business Owners". It was one of the key ingredients to growing our SaaS application almost 400% this year.
