At Refresh, I helped build out the idea from a skunk-works MVP to a successful and well-loved iPhone app. I played many roles: strategist, designer, prototyper, data scientist, marketer and cheerleader.

At LinkedIn, I led the homepage and newsfeed team. We delivered an xx% increase in engagement with our July 2012 launch.

At Google, I won the Founders award and the OC award for two v1 products. Each of these contributed $x00M in incremental revenue.

Vivek was the product manager of my team, and we worked together closely on some hackday projects. He is motivated, upbeat, inspiring and full of new directions that we need to be considering. Going beyond being a feature shepherd, Vivek likes to get his hands wet with the code, and participating in code design and organization aspects of the development.

When I worked with Vivek, he was the product manager for the very successful product which gave recommendations to advertisers as to how to improve their campaigns with Google. Vivek knew how to keep a good balance between organizing the efforts of engineers, and letting them have their head to follow their own ideas. He had many good ideas for the product himself. I worked with Vivek on the Adwords product management team at Google. Product management at Google is a balance of 3 things - (1) Having very good business acumen to support and build a case for change (2) Possessing the technical vision and credibility to sell this change across multiple organizations (engineering, sales, product marketing) and (3) Bringing skilled project management to eventually execute/launch the change broadly. People often were good at one or two of these areas, Vivek excelled at all 3 and was an outstanding product manager

Vivek is a fellow PM on my team. He was my "Buddy" when I joined Google, and helped me learn about the PM world. Vivek taught me how to look beyond what users ask into what they need, as well as to abstract that need. He also taught me how to create a vision and execute on it. I became a better PM just by observing his work. A true visionary!
