Jason Salisbury is the current owner of Landfill Reduction & Recycling, a construction materials recycling company. Without any industry knowlede of the waste/recycling market, at age 27 he began researching and making contacts within the industry. Within a year and several business plan iterations, he secured $2 million in traditional bank financing by demonstrating common sense and well developed plans. Within a year the company launched and generated over $1 million in revenues it's first year and now after 4 years continues to grow beyond $6 million in annual revenues. Currently Landfill Reduction is the largest construction recycler in the state and is looked at as a model for developing recycling in Wisconsin.
Prior to starting Landfill Reduction, Jason gained experience as a industrial controls sales representative, serving as a technical advisor for a few hundred manufacturing and equipment builders in the Minnesota and Wisconsin area.
Jason's strengths include industrial controls, sales, process improvement, processing cost reduction, market research, and securing financing. He also handles DNR permitting, contract negotiations, marketing, accounting, infrastructure development, and human resources functions.
