June W Choi is the Managing Partner of Serval Ventures, with a particular focus on innovations leveraging data, such as AI, to accelerate the velocity of transformative solutions to market with creative defensible strategies, nurturing diverse and promising talent, and building global relationships. We collaborate with portfolio companies to perform better in the market, increase revenues, valuations, and investment returns. Serval exited its first portfolio company in 2018, three years after launching.
June is an investor, master mentor, startup advisor, entrepreneurship teacher, systems innovation strategist, experienced executive, speaker, and aggregate, complex systems, 4D thinker that helps her understand innovation quickly, see trends accurately, and get to the core of challenges.
Before launching Serval, June was a young executive, then ran a strategy consulting firm for many years working on issues such as strategic planning, board development, financial and operational systems and processes, cultural/diversity/inclusion issues, succession planning, fundraising and investment planning, training, and facilitation. June also has broad understanding of nonprofit and philanthropy, extensive speaking experience, and has served on numerous panels, committees, and boards.
