Kahlilah L. Guyah is the CEO, Founder and Principal Consultant at EHS Compliance Services Inc. a consulting firm that focuses on helping manufacturers manage compliance and mitigate risk. She is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with nearly 20 years of comprehensive experience delivering compliance solutions and implementing management systems. She is passionate about management system implementation and helping companies create sustainable systems for effective compliance and risk management. Her expertise includes, but are not limited to: ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Management System Implementation, EHS Compliance Auditing; Risk Assessments, Regulatory Analyses and EHS Program Development. Kahlilah is a strong communicator and has been a presenter for the 2019 BLR Cal/OSHA Summit, the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and a guest lecturer for Presidio Graduate School. She is team leader and problem solver who has led EHS programs at Cordis Corporation, Cordis Neurovascular and Codman Neurovascular, each a part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies. During a two-year project tenure at Medtronic (formerly HeartWare Inc), a multimillion-dollar medical device company, she reduced over $1 M in potential regulatory fines and designed and implemented a variety of EHS programs. Kahlilah successfully prepared and led a BASF facility through an internal Responsible Care Management System Audit. Most recently provided a variety of EHS services with Bonneville Labs, Domaine Chandon, Oracle Corporation, and Tesla Motors to provide a variety of EHS services including audits, risk assessments and software evaluations. She is the recipient of the 2014 Edward M. "Ed" Stratton Memorial Health Safety & Environment Professional Education Grant and was featured as in the inaugural edition of the EHS Daily Advisor’s Faces of EHS in January 2020. She is a professional member of ASSP and is the proud graduate of both Pennsylvania State University and Emory University where she received graduate and undergraduate degrees in Chemistry, respectively.
