I have received my BS degree from the University of South Dakota in Biology with minors in Mathematics and Chemistry, I also received my MS degree from Johns Hopkins University in Biotechnology. I am currently pursuing my MBA through Minnesota School of Business and only have one class to complete. I have twenty years of experience in the medical and science field, as well as college instruction.
Throughout my experience I’ve been involved working under OSHA, EPA, CLIA, CAP, FDA, Medicare, GINA, HIPAA, Stark, and Anti-Kickback regulations. I’ve worked in hospital/medical settings, research settings, government settings, and education settings. Throughout my experience I’ve aided in developing a Molecular and Experimental Medicine program. As the manager of the clinical research and biobank departments within this program I have performed strategic planning, project development and implementation, developed policies to work within compliance and regulation, and have been trained in many programs, such as, HIPAA, International Conference on Harmonization Guidelines, and Good Clinical Practices.
