Simon currently heads Ventigo Private Equity.
Over his career he has launched and funded numerous success stories including several BRW 100 Fast Starter listings. He has mentored entrepreneurs from start up to national acclaim and is regarded as one of Australia’s most respected growth hackers and incubators.
His past clients include Schwarzkopf, Hyundai, Energex, Pfizer, Vodafone, Anytime Fitness and Porsche Cars Australia to name a few. Simon holds numerous advisory board positions and has advised some of Australia’s most prominent business people.
Simon is considered a highly creative leader. He once converted a 100-year-old inner city power station into office space to host one of his companies. He has lead teams of hundreds, been a public speaker, educator and has provided insight and commentary to news media including the Australian Financial Review.
As a Property Developer, his projects include medical/wellness, multi-residential, land sub-division and student/rooming accommodation.
Simon’s background in construction has also seen him build many of Australia’s prominent housing companies including his most recent success story Tiny Blox, which is Australia’s biggest and fastest growing prefabricated and modular housing company.
Simon is an active philanthropist. He has helped over 100 of Australia’s largest charities including Breast Cancer Foundation, Prostate Cancer Foundation, Canteen, BoysTown and numerous Disability enterprises. Simon has also supported numerous sporting groups including major Motorsport sponsorships.
