I was the Global Sr. Category Manger- Professional Services at Sandoz Inc (07/2023 - 10/2024). Here, I was the Head of Procurement Category Management of Professional Services for Sandoz globally delivering competitive value advantage for the organization.
Prior to this, I was at Novartis for 11 years (05/2012 -07/2023), with my latest role being the Sr. Regional Category Manager, APMA- MC&E & Travel (11/2020 - 07/2023). During this time I was the Head of Procurement Category Management for approx. 30 markets across geographies in Asia-Pacific, Middle East & Africa (APMA) with a 200$M Spend in Meetings Congresses & Events, Business Travel and Ground Transportation.
I was also the Head of Procurement- Central Asia (02/2017 - 10/2020), where I led Cluster Procurement team for all Indirect Commercial procurement with an annual spend of ~$70M across 4 markets of India, Bangladesh, Vietnam & Thailand, Country Head of Procurement (11/2013 - 01/2017), where I led Country Procurement team for all Indirect & Commercial spends with an annual spend of -$100M across all business lines of Novartis within India, and the Head of Procurement Operations (05/2012 - 11/2013), where I defined and owned Procurement Policies and Procedures and also managed procurement operations for indirect sourcing across all divisions with ~100 $M annual spend.
