I have a background in international affairs, politics, geopolitics and security. Currently working as Head of Security and Research for an international human rights and video charity, which I helped setup in 2008. This experience has taken me across the world, from footage and information collection in many EMEA countries, distribution via media such as the BBC and CNN, to presentation in Washington, London and Brussels – all while working in the background.

I have written, presented, taught and worked with organisations ranging from women’s groups on the ground to parliamentary groups in Westminster. The security management part of this role also required working on issues of partner due diligence, geopolitical / social network analysis analysis, country research/risk assessment and reduction (ranging from strategic to the tactical) – including the design and delivery of a number of training programs to a variety of audiences, in a variety of environments and cultures.

Originally from Dublin, currently in London, I've lived and worked in the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa and Central Europe.

I can enthusiastically say that working alongside Rory was a pleasure; he is a team player as well as being very committed and highly intelligent. His ethical approach to humanitarian issues was humbling and he produced countless of accessible reports into highly complex issues. He often went beyond the call of duty when there were time critical issues the office had to respond to and he easily kept pace with a busy Member of Parliament. I would recommend Rory for any task he sets his mind to.
