Roland worked as a developer in our Development Group. He joined the Group right after I joined the firm to turn it around and create a professional, standardised, strictly managed IT service provider that still allows and utilises creativity.
Roland played a significant role in this process: he contributed with plenty of ideas how to improve our services and products as well as worked as an active team member with always performing his duties on time and within pre-set quality limits, often achieving his objectives sooner than expected. Roland stayed on board till the end of the entire turnaround and participated in the design and development of the firm's complex, integrated product (a logistics and transportation management solution with complex pricing, planning and optimisation as well as all the usual front office processes).
