I have been in the online gaming industry, particularly casino and poker, since 1997. I created, launched, marketed and operated Peak Entertainment which included our two flagship brands; Omni Casino and SunPoker.com (along with my 40+ employees) until 2010 when I sold the company and semi-retired.
That lasted all of three months before the boredom of retirement took its toll. As someone who absolutely loves problem solving, strategic development and helping others, there was a tremendous void that needed to be filled, and consulting was the next logical step.
The former VP of Poker at Cryptologic introduced me to a company in Denver that was looking to break into the online gaming business. I flew out to meet with the team and began my first consulting gig.
I have since formed Peak Gaming Group as my consultancy, and aligned myself with some other top flight consultants to round out more areas of expertise within the organization.
Since then I have helped dozens of companies with their strategic development and more importantly with the actual execution of the plans that we create.
As most casino executives are aware, the limitation of internal resources and in house expertise is the main cause for lack of innovation and frustration when trying to implement a new project or marketing campaign. My expertise lies in not only assisting casinos in implementing a project but also lending my experience in project management to those working on the front lines every day. Most projects fail because the project manager either didn’t have the time or the capability to manage the given project. I can help to alleviate (and sometimes even completely erase) these problems by doing the heavy lifting and pointing you and your team in the right direction.
