I've had a great experience building out Rockerbox, raising funding and being a part of the Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator program. Prior to this, my time as a product manager at AppNexus showed me what its like when a company is in hypergrowth mode (44->350 by the time I left in 3 years).
I'm lucky enough to have Ron as my mentor. Ron is one of those rare people who puts as much dedication into mentoring as he does into everything else, which is to say, he shows up 100%. To add to that, his sense of humor, candor, and positivity are refreshing and inspiring. If you get a chance to work with Ron, take it! Simple as that.
Ron is not just smart, but wise. He is an incredibly fast and analytical thinker, but also has excellent judgment. On top of that, he's a joy to work with. If I ever have the chance, I'd hire him in a snap.
Ron was Photobucket's main TAM at Appnexus. As one of their first customers, there was not a simple standard integration we could just flip on. We had to develop a custom setup unique to our situation. Ron was key to helping us implement as well as troubleshoot and maintain an extremely critical part of our business. He always went above and beyond to make sure the product performed, issues were resolved and that we were happy. Not to mention, he is just a great guy that I would jump at the opportunity to work with again.
