One simple question that brings clarity when your mind feels noisy:
“Is this thought helping me right now?”
If the answer is no, it doesn’t mean you’re wrong for having it —
it just means you don’t have to keep feeding it.
Clarity often begins with noticing, not fixing.
🌱 What thought could you gently loosen today?

Sometimes when our mind spins we can struggle to bring it to a calm. Thinking of the what ifs and that's when we spiral.
I see this alot in my clients, especially those who are running households, finances, everyday choices and trying to decide what to do with their life.
In the world today, we see so many who seems ahead or appear to be doing everything right and we think: What am I doing wrong?
Finding ways to ground ourselves in our own reality, our own path and separate ourselves from the expectation from society, we see that we actually aren't behind. We aren't spiraling. We aren't doing anything wrong.
This is your path, your life, and you can't compare yourself to the masses, as they are you. And you, aren't them. For good reason.
You're here for a purpose. So breathe, feel the ground under your feet, see all that you've accomplished like a movie in your mind.
You've come far.
That's what clarity does for us. It broadens the lens through which we see ourselves.
Be gentle with yourself. It's your first time living.
Reminding myself that my worth isn't my job title. No matter what happens in my career, my pets will still love me, my spouse will still be there, and the sun will come up tomorrow. Sounds simple, but when you're spiraling about a decision, sometimes you need to zoom out and remember what actually matters.
PsyD here! Grounding is a technique to center a busy mind. Please go to nature. A tree, grass. Take off your shoes and let your feet feel the Earth. Better yet, if you can recenter and sit under a tree. You may also focus on just breathing to calm. Four counts inhale but lengthier 6 counts exhale. If you ruminate you may want to discuss a mental health referral with your Primary Care Doctor.
