MenuWhat are effective ways to make money online?
This could include businesses to start
Answers
Here are five effective ways to make money online:
1. Freelancing: Offer your skills and services in areas like writing, graphic design, programming, and digital marketing on platforms like Upwork or Fiverr.
2. Affiliate Marketing: Promote products or services of other companies and earn a commission for each sale made through your referral link.
3. Online Courses: Create and sell online courses on topics you're knowledgeable about through platforms like Udemy or Teachable.
4. E-commerce: Start an online store selling products or services, either by creating your own products or dropshipping from suppliers.
5. Blogging/Vlogging: Start a blog or YouTube channel and monetize it through advertising, sponsored content, affiliate marketing, and selling digital or physical products.
There are a couple of approaches you can take to make your first $1000 online, depending on how quickly you need it and what skills you're comfortable using.
Quick cash options:
- Microtasks and surveys: Websites like Amazon Mechanical Turk (https://www.mturk.com/) offer small microtasks that can be completed for a few cents each. While they won't make you rich, they can slowly add up. Surveys are another option, but payouts tend to be low as well. Be wary of sites that promise big money for easy tasks, as these are often scams.
- Selling unwanted items: Declutter your closet or home and sell gently used items on online marketplaces like Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.
Require more effort but can be scalable:
- Freelancing: If you have a skill like writing, editing, graphic design, or web development, you can offer your services on freelance platforms like Fiverr or Upwork. Success here depends on your skills, pricing, and ability to find clients. Build a strong profile and focus on positive client reviews to attract more work.
- Affiliate marketing: Promote other companies' products or services online and earn a commission for each sale you generate. This can be done through a blog, social media, or even YouTube channel. It requires building an audience and promoting relevant products, but can be a good long-term strategy.
Here are some additional tips for making money online:
- Be realistic: Making a significant amount of money online takes time and effort. Don't expect to get rich quick.
- Beware of scams: There are many scams out there that promise easy money online. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
- Be patient and persistent: It takes time to build a successful online income stream. Don't get discouraged if you don't see results immediately.
No matter which method you choose, be sure to do your research and choose a reputable platform or company to work with.

What is the best job to get to learn to become an entrepreneur? Working at a VC as an analyst? Work in Sales? Work in Marketing? Consulting?
The best way to learn is by starting a company yourself. This could be anything from a web development company, e-commerce or even a lemonade stand! The second best way to learn is to work closely with another entrepreneur, either at a startup or as an assistant to the CEO/executive. It's important to see exactly how the startup works on the inside so you can bring experience when you start out on your own. Being an entrepreneur isn't easy, don't forget to have fun.MG

I have hustle and motivation to find a job, but every time I get a job I lose it due to anxiety. What is your advice?
You're definitely not alone with this feeling and it's very common amoung millennials because we were taught to figure everything out ourselves with the Internet- what we didn't know we were expected to look up. Admitting we truly didn't have the skill associated with the job would conjure up feelings of humiliation which would lead to the compulsive behavior to then just say-- yeah I can do that. It's my opinion that you're not trying to impress initially as so much as you're trying to not be caught in a vulnerable situation. I would recommend writing down all of your skills separate from your traits-- traits are the characteristics of yourself such as dependable, honest, persistent, loyal-- skills are how you can help them accomplish their goals - transferable skills are those you have accumulated throughout your career. - when someone asks you a skills based question like -- describe your normal methods of assigning work to your subordinates and you answer with "well I'm a very fair person and I wouldn't want their to animosity between the employees so I would make sure it's spread equally" - it's a honest answer but it's a skill question answered by subjective traits. - does that make sense? I think understanding skills/traits will calm your anxiety down and get you pumped for your next interview! :)WK

How do I land interviews with top companies if my experience is what they're looking for but not calling me back?
Every company is different in terms of how they handle the interview process, but when it comes to companies like Facebook and Google, I have heard that knowing current employees is a big help especially if they have worked with you before. Besides that, I would say their process is differently not systematic enough that you can check off all the boxes and expect to get a job. There are many stories of people that are more than qualified than most people that did not land a job. They are large enough that they have that luxury. I don't know your specific situation, but I would start talking ALOT with current employees, perfect your specific skills (be great at 1 thing, not ok at a lot), and keep trying :) If you want to hop on a call I can help you with your specific situation. I have gotten pretty far in the interview process at Google, before I decided not to proceed and instead started my current startup Due.com.CB

how to make google assistant ask a question 12 Replies
I am trying to figure out how to make the Google Assistant ask me a question when externally
I am not sure what you are trying to ask but if you are asking how to get your google assistant to ask questions (and act on the replies perhaps?). You do so by building Google Actions. Google Actions are just like mobile apps but is made available in Google Assistant when a user ask for a particular action via an Invocation such as Ok Google, Talk to Keep Count. The Google Action called Keep Count would then take over. There in the action you can program it so that the google assistant interact with the user via a series of question and replies. You can find out how to do Google Action by visiting the Google Assistant developer website at https://developers.google.com/assistant. Happy to jump on a call if you need more specific directions. I am an expert in the field of Voice Technology. You can also learn from live streams on twitch at twitch.tv/goldzulu. Hope that helps.V"
