Talent pool: A modeling agency's popularity can be attributed to the quality and diversity of the models they represent. If the agency consistently represents talented and successful models who are in demand by clients, it can contribute to their popularity.
Industry connections: Well-established modeling agencies often have strong connections with reputable brands, fashion designers, photographers, and other industry professionals. These connections can lead to better opportunities for their models, which in turn boosts the agency's popularity.
Professionalism and reputation: A popular modeling agency is typically known for its professionalism, integrity, and ethical practices. Building a strong reputation over time through fair treatment of models, transparent contracts, and good working relationships with clients and industry stakeholders can contribute to their popularity.
Success stories: The agency's track record of successfully launching and managing the careers of models can also play a significant role in their popularity. If they have a history of discovering and nurturing successful models who go on to achieve recognition and success in the industry, it can enhance their reputation.
Marketing and branding: Effective marketing strategies and branding efforts can contribute to the popularity of a modeling agency. Building a strong online presence, showcasing the agency's work through professional portfolios and social media, and engaging with the target audience can help raise awareness and generate interest in the agency.
These are just some general factors that can contribute to the popularity of a modeling agency. To understand why Ranchi Modelling Agency specifically is popular, it would be necessary to research their specific achievements, reputation, and industry standing within the context of the modeling industry in Ranchi or the region.

What is the right business/revenue model for a personalized online learning platform for business professionals?
There are merits to both options, but unless your economics dictate one over the other, the choice should be made by your consumers. I would suggest that you use landing pages to test both pricing models and let the relative click-through-rates tell you which is the right way to go. Validate the consumer preferred model before you commit to it. You may discover one as a clear winner overall, or that one wins out in a key market segment. You may also find that the distribution is fairly even. Keep in mind that it is possible to utilize both - think Amazon selling audio books, but also offering Audible Subscriptions. Ultimately, you'll want to make sure that the economics work for you - and focus on maximizing customer LTV (life time value - ie the total you'll earn per customer over the lifetime of that customer). I'm happy to explain the process of testing these (even before the product exists) in detail. Just shoot me a message.RR

Do you feel this is too much and will cause over extension of self and time?
Hello, I would suggest to make a clear difference between your - skill set and - market differentiation. I think, the answer highly depends on your current situation. What's your current level in photography in terms of photography and relevant business skills? Do you already have first clients? What do you stand for in the market? What we did in our studio is the following: We tried out a few different things, found what works best for us and focussed quite narrowly on that topic. We reached a very high skill level in that topic and could build up a clear market profile. With further growth and a bigger team with a broader skills set and interests, it makes sense for us to widen up and work different markets. That helps to break seasonality and reliance from a single market. Most important things for us is to market for different segments in a different way. So, the question to answer would be: where is your starting point and what are your next reasonable steps to progress in your photography business? I belive, there is no answer that fits for everybody. Happy to elaborate in more detail by phone. Best, FabianFB

How do VCs evaluate the business model of a startup?
Evaluating a prospective investment requires getting to know a company over time. There are four main stages of evaluation: a) The “first read” (which can be an instant reaction to determine whether the deal matches the firm’s strategy), b) The first meeting (in which the team can be evaluated in person or over the phone, and questions can be asked about the company’s resources and business plan), c) Preliminary due diligence (which includes assessing whether there is a market for the company’s solution, competition, basic financial analysis, and initial customer and management references), and d) Full due diligence (a deeper dive into all aspects of the company’s operations and plan, culminating in an “investment memo” or “investment decision” presentation for approval by the partnership). It’s normal to identify possible deal terms, including valuation, to complete an investment memorandum. Feel free to setup a call if you wish to learn more.DS

What is the best pricing (business model) to apply to a marketplace?
I like to separate your question into 2 sub-questions: #1 How do we determine which side to charge? #2 How much is the right amount to charge? On #1, my answer is that you can charge the side(s) for whom you add the most value. In your examples, Uber really solves a big problem for drivers, it's that they sit idle for a good part of the day, so are willing to pay a lot for new leads. (their alternative is no work) Consumers are charged more for the convenience of a private car but they are probably not so much willing to pay more for a taxi, even if they can hail one from their phones. For AirBnB, it's a mix, it's a way for landlords to monetize idle capacity which they are willing to pay for, but it's also a way for a renter to pay less than they would normally pay for a hotel. On #2 (how much), I like to triangulate a number of factors: - What's the maximum amount I can charge one side, while still being a good deal for them. - How much do I need to charge so that I can become profitable? (the economics are quite different if you charge 3% vs. 12%) - What are comparable services charging for substitutes/competitive offerings? I will just add that there is no formulaic way to determine pricing strategies (curated vs. open), and it's a lot more about what's the comparable and what the value delivered is. That's how I approached the question while deciding the business model at ProBueno.com (my startup)MR

Hey. I want to ask more about the business model on wxatthewmaps. Can the value-retention model work?
Wxatthewmaps is an interface that offers thinking automation. So, I believe before you are choosing a business-model you must understand what it is that you want to target. Often people confuse between value-retention and customer-retention. These two are closely related. When you enter the word “value, you will come across two business models. Value proposition development is an organizational approach to building in value to the customer experience. It is simply that by building a value proposition you will provide profitable and superior customer value. You can read more here: https://www.fullsurge.com/blog/6-steps-to-creating-a-compelling-b2b-value-proposition Creating a value-focused enterprise requires a fundamental rethink of the way things are organized and managed. These customers demand, and are willing to pay for, a sales effort that creates new value and provides additional benefits outside of the product. You can read more here: https://openviewpartners.com/blog/enterprise-pricing-strategy-focus-on-value/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Value_proposition#Value_proposition_builder_model Short answer is yes, it would work but choose wisely.
