MenuHow can I find help with SEO link building?
I have been ranked at the top of Google for many years and now since Google is giving these directory sites a head start - upcity, yelp, clutch, - can you help me outrank them or provide insight as to how I can do this myself or find the right person to?

Hi
This is a common problem for many.
There are no quick fixes. The main aspects are:
1. Quality (relevant) content
2. Quality incoming coming links for the relevant keywords.
3. Focus on niche areas.
4. Utilize long tail keywords.
I’ve successfully helped over 300 entrepreneurs and I’d be happy to assist. Immediately after scheduling the call, please send me the link to your website + the main keywords that you are focusing on (and why), and any other relevant information.
Best of luck
You have 2 options - learn how to do this yourself or pay someone to do it for you. If you want to learn, go to the bookstore, or Udacity or join Seth Godin's Online Marketing training course. These are medium term strategies.
In the short term, there are some sites and services which you can do yourself or pay a modest sum for someone else do do for you.
You don't say what your business does or how large your business is - answer these in a private message to me and I can improve this answer.
Here is an article I wrote about 8 Marketing Strategies to Grow and Scale a Local Business https://creativeagencysecrets.com/local-marketing-auckland/
- Research directory listing websites in your country (Yelp, Upcity etc) and go and create listing on each one.
- Hire an SEO freelancer (www.upwork.com has many listed) to work for your site setting up the links you desire
- Sign up for Marketing Local platforms who offer local marketing services which include link building https://www.reachlocal.com/us/en
https://www.ownlocal.com/
https://www.brightlocal.com/
- Write blogs which cite other local businesses and can be re-published on local websites, newspapers and local Facebook groups. Getting links from these sites will help to boost your site's SEO (although Facebook doesn't rank because Google hates them).
- Create a customer newsletter which links to your online blogs so your current customers also click through to the site to read the articles - this will boost the visitors to the site and help improve the relevance score.
Best wishes
Hi -
Congrats on being ranked at top of Google.
My expertise is in content building / content producing. If you need help with building out your links, link development, any content work, let's chat on a call to discuss more.
Unless you have a high domain rank, it will be hard to rank higher than sites like Yelp for competing keywords. I suggest that you take a look at a bunch of long-tail keywords and build out new pages to bring in more web traffic directed to your prospects. You need to set up a link building strategy based on keywords. If you do want to compete for keywords against Yelp, then you need to get some powerful links for those pages. Take a look at Ninja Outreach for link building. This will give you a platform to manage your outreach.
Hey there!
If you're trying to outrank Google, in short, you need 5 things:
1- Guest post and niche edit backlinks from websites with high RD and traffic numbers
2- Tier 2 and Tier 3 backlinks driving power to your high quality, white-hat, tier 1 links.
3- Active social and press syndication (Using an IFTTT network or Storychief) across all social platforms and web 2.0s to drum up referrals and some link juice
4- Citations and Niche Directories- Use the Yelps,Upcitys, clutches, and HomeStars of the world a nudge out by using their site to drive link authority to your own with local citations.
5- Accurate and targeted anchor text profiles- This is possibly the most key step. Be sure to use the right anchor text for each style of link being built to keep it as natural as possible.
That was quick but if you have any other questions, let me know and I can help!
Cheers

How do you build a high traffic niche website?
Obviously, no 2 situations are alike; and multiple factors affect any outcome. Practically, the number of answers is infinite. But one factor I've looked at intensively, full time for years is the role played by the brand name and/or the site's domain(s). Think of doing business -- online or off -- as moving along a path. Some paths are rocky or go through quicksand. Others can be made straight and smooth. Obstacles can be cleared, or the surface may be lubricated. For most niches, you'll see brand names / domains that add friction -- friction that is compensated for by extra marketing inputs ... effort or money. Suppose your niche were nicotine patches. Well, ideally you might own NicotinePatch(es).com to simplify brand recognition, add trust, increase click-through rates, and so forth. Traffic can be built up without an exact-match domain. No doubt about that. Still, not all domains / names perform equally well online or in the minds' of an audience. Answers aren't always so clear cut. However, since the internet is built on domain names, domains and names are worth evaluating very deliberately.JP

Will moving my website to another web host / server affect my google rankings?
Typically just moving from one server to the next has no issues at all so long as you're not making any other changes to the site, such as changing URLs in a re-design process. Just make sure its a quality, respected server. If the server has issues then, yeah, you'll inherit them. But otherwise you'll be fine.SD

How Google can index/reindex my page as quickest as possible, as and where there is some change happen in the content?
Hi, Your site is a Q&A so I presume that every time someone create a new Question it will generate a unique URL for that. Indepentend if you have or not an answer you want Google to crawl and index your site as quick as possible to start to analyzing the new page and bring traffic to it. The best way to expedite this "re-crawling" is to use a ping service that you can trigger after your user answer the question. PS: If you site is updated frequently you shouldn't have a problem with crawling, because Google usually identify this type of website really quick. Drop me a call is free for this week. Best,YM

What is a reasonable price for SEO services?
The cost of SEO depends a great deal on three things: 1) The specific services being offered (SEO, social media, content strategy, etc.) 2) The degree in which those services will be implemented (how many hours per month) 3) the skill and experience level of the SEOs involved. $800/month is a pretty small investment if you consider all the layers to making a web marketing campaign successful. My company will usually not touch any fully-managed web marketing campaign for less than $1500/month and that's at the low end of the aggressiveness meter even for a pretty basic site. A larger ecommerce site might start around $5K and go up from there. Overall, you want to look for value and results. You'll want to know how long the SEO has been in business and when looking at proposals you need to understand the amount of time the company will be investing in the campaign. You also want to spell out your goals and establish the expectations on how/when those goals will be achieved. When the SEO and client don't have the same expectations, that can lead to issues later on. But if you know what the goals are you can both be on the same page from the start.SD

Will redesigning a website (ground up) ruin the search ranking of a site?
TL;DR -> Yes you will risk it if you don't perform a proper audit and migration from the original platform. Any type of architecture changes can 100% ruin your SEO if you are not migrating content and topics correctly. Many people assume this is limited to URI structure but underestimate the power of Topical hierarchy and the content, internal linking and URI structure which play a crucial role into any migration effort. If you have any questions about the migration process, give me a shout. Decent free migration checklist: https://searchengineland.com/site-migration-seo-checklist-dont-lose-traffic-286880TM
