I am writing a book on artificial intelligence, anyone open to being interviewed about your experiences for the book?

1) Look through posts and just and tally which "side-topics" show up the most within the last week. Rank them. The top two side-topics for each group will be the most promising ones to suggest to that group in the future. You'll basically be making a 'word cloud', like this: https://www.jasondavies.com/wordcloud/ 2) To test your new hypothesis, occasionally start making your own posts on the groups with links to articles about the most promising side-topics you've identified. Either make brand new posts, or cross-post from other groups. See how popular the posts are. 3) If not, move to the next most popular side-topic and do some tests with that. 4) Repeat steps 1 - 4 (each time you do step 1, use the most recent week of posts) If you'd like more detailed advice on how to do this, and test its effectiveness with regard to your specific groups, let me know, best, Lee

1. Start by focusing on the business problem, you want to solve, and how you want to implement the solution. 2. Don't be scared by the buzzwords (i.e. "If you don't use AI, you will be out of business in five years). Sometimes a standard report is fine. 3. Although you should start small by solving existing pains, be curious, and understand the potential for large scale solutions. Understand enough of the technology, that you understand the scale and type of problems that can be solved. But don't do this until you are done with 1. and 2. Good question and good luck with it! This is a very vague question .. and sorry to say I wont be able to answer you in a better way... For the sake of conversation , lets say you own clarity.fm and see how we can fit semantic and AI on to it... I had once started a similar idea in past on yelp reviews.. Semantic - In layman langugae, you are breaking down large language pieces to small sentences and making a meaning out of it...and tagging them.. E.g If there was an sematic alogorithm you had run on this particular question , then the results would be Vagueness = 10, topic = technology, industry = web etc.. TO get this done, there should be a lexicon database that you should seed and curate. AI - This is more about applying data science and doing doing deep linking, mapping between all the raw data points (like User details) and derived information (like semantics) and identifying patterns. This is just one example. One practical example using clarity as case study using this clarity question --- If today you want to make a call for some help, calrity can use its AI algorithms to to identify who would be the best person to answer this..(based on the answers made in the past). Clinical Decision Support coupled with cost optimization will grow over the next ten years in light of AI and Amazon development. So what do I mean in a practical sense by this? Say you are a patient with abdominal pain. Your doctor thinks you may have a gallstone, but it could also be a kidney stone or perhaps a bulging disc in your back among other conditions. A test would help your doctor diagnose you. But what test? It could be an ultrasound, CT, MRI, or a nuclear medicine study along with blood work. But what would be the best test for you given your medical history, past tests you've undergone and cost of the tests in the area? This is way too much information for a busy doctor to analyze in a 15-minute office visit. Ahh, but there is an AI platform with all your past medical history and costs of local services Amazon has figured out. Your doctor, working in conjunction with the platform can enter relevant clinical information based on their physical exam and interstation with you to determine the optimal test to order to diagnose your condition. This would result in high-quality, cost-effective care to be delivered with the help of AI in collaboration with your doctor's input. How does this change the job of a doctor? Well, it would make them more efficient and able to provide higher quality. They would need to learn how to interact more closely with an AI platform and recognize a stronger partnership with technology. As a result, decrease mental burden and job satisfaction would result. Ultimately, there could be lower rates of provider burnout and increased job satisfaction with more individuals wanting to enter medicine. This could help address our issues around limited access in light of an aging population requiring more services.

One of the most innovative uses of AI that I've come across recently is using it to analyze sales calls. They're able to break down conversations into digestible/searchable topics. From here, they analyze what phrases and topics lead to/away from conversions.
