MenuI have the ability to build Identity Access Mgmt. Where can I hire someone to backup my projects?
If the project is done the potential on this is continuing residual income for both of us.

Can you give more detail about what you mean by backup your projects?
This question is super vague... I can tell you about backup software, and backup systems if you are just looking to backup your work so you don't lose it in a disaster.
I just am not sure that is what you mean seeing as you seem to want to share income with whomever helps you on this.
What do you mean by "backup my projects"? As a developer you'd usually have some kind of version control system in place (github.com/ or bitbucket.org/), which would also serve as a backup system. If you're looking for someone to keep an archive of your files, there are a number of public or private cloud providers that offer that service (carbonite, ironmountain, goodsync, etc.).
Backups are simple.
Dump your database into a file + create a compressed tarball of your database file + any code files.
Or, if you require hot sparing, run your system in an LXD container + do periodic rsyncs from container to a container on another machine. Then, say once a day, stop the production container + do another rsync to ensure all memory buffers are flushed (database is consistent), then restart production container.
You can also use database replication, so you only lose the last transaction if your production site goes down.
If you're running hot spares, if your production site goes down, you just change your IP to point to your spare + you're back online.

Which CDN would you recommend for bot detection?
Distil Networks is more like a CDN (Content Delivery Network), so every traffic to customers website should pass through Distil server. In other words you have to point your DNS to their CDN (that can potentially bring down your site). They keep analyzing your website through out and if the traffic is found malicious they block. As you asked about competitors, ShieldSquare as a potential alternative, offers following benefits over Distil: Non-intrusive API integration that will not affect your website performance and uptime. Zero False Positives that will ensure that your genuine users are never troubled. I can offer more direction if I know more about your environment. Best Regards, StevenSP

I've already applied for a "dream job". They are forward-thinking and advertise their culture and distributed team.
What can I do now to stand out?
You need to show them that you can solve their problems. The #1 mistake made by most applicants is that they keep talking about themselves: "here are my skills, here's what I've done, etc..." Instead of talking about yourself, talk about them: "You need someone who can jump right in; someone who can start working without making mistakes. You also don't have a lot of time for training. I can get started right away." This is going to require some research. Follow the founders / managers on Twitter. Read their blog posts. Scan their error logs (if they're public). Find out where you're *needed* and highlight that. Generally it's best to do this during the application process. If you've already sent in a cover letter and resume, it doesn't hurt to send a follow-up email that says: "I've been doing some research, and I think I've found some places I could be helpful."JJ

Are there any good and free resume collection software?
I'd recommend RecruiterBox as long as you can focus on filing one position at a time. It let's you accept up to 200 applicants for 1 position for free. http://recruiterbox.com/recruitment-software-pricing-with-free-signup/ Also, There are quite a few others out there most of which offer free 30 day trials or free access to their platforms with feature limits on them vs the company's paid offerings. Based on the way you phrased the question, this app should do the trick! Side note - if you're making use off Google apps - just create a form for submissions. It's always free.TB

What is the best tool for pre-hire, sales representative personality testing?
I would be curious to know why you feel it is important to use personality testing. I have hired over 20 sales reps and I have never used any testing. I have conversations with my hires because that is going to tell me more about their personality any day than a test. Plus you might eliminate someone because of a test score that could be a great fit for your organization. I have a pretty strong process for hiring sales people and could share with you my steps and even the questions if you would like.JM

What's an alternative to equity based compensation that recruits, motivates and retains employees?
Before we dive into the equity, salary and such. Motivation and retention begins with the CEO. Ask yourself what is the culture of the company? If you don't know anything about culture then start with the basics: 1. Do you value employee opinions? Do you ask for others opinions? 2. Do you encourage people to listen to employee problems? Do you listen to what other people have to say? 3. Do you encourage others to come up with ideas and suggestion? 4. Can you sell your dream? 5. Can you build consensus? 6. Hire people for their strengths and fix their weaknesses 7. Don't assume shit, always ask 8. Treat your interns like employees and mentor them 9. Have a clear vision and be able to articulate it 10. Can you admit when you are wrong? VERY IMPORTANT So if you have a strong company culture this will help with new hires, motivate, and retain talent. The frosting on the cake is free food/snacks, happy hours, company paid healthcare benefits, etc.TP
