MenuIs it possible in woocommerce to display Shipping methods first on the checkout page?
And based on options (local pickup / shipping), we can control which fields to be displayed for billing address? As I dont want to force my customer to enter full address if he is opting for Local Pickup.

Yes based on the hooks and templates in WooCommerce you can customize the flow of checkout to be anything you want. I know that's a simple answer but most things you can think of can be done in WC. Even pulling in live shipping rates via an API to FedEx, USPS, UPS, etc...
You first have to create Shipping zones and add shipping methods specific to those zones. Now as soon as you enter the address on the checkout page, WooCommerce searches for that address in all the zones, and if matched display all the shipping assigned to that zone.
Or you can try this also:
Under WooCommerce/Settings/Shipping zones clear the 'Zone regions' then under shipping options/ Calculations uncheck both:
"Enable the shipping calculator on the cart page" and
"Hide shipping costs until an address is entered"
By default, the WooCommerce checkout section doesn't give you the option to use a shipping address. As you can imagine, this happens quite often so it's important to provide your customers with this option. Even though some might say that it's better to have fewer fields on the checkout page, an extra option to specify a shipping address will actually be better for your shoppers. So, by adding an option to either provide a completely different shipping address or an optional shipping address field, you will cover every possible situation. Checkout Manager is one of the best checkout plugins out there and opens up many ways to optimize your checkout page. Now, let us see how to enable your shipping address fields using Checkout Manager. Now that your plugin is set up, let us customize your WooCommerce checkout page and enable the shipping address. Open the plugin’s options menu by going to WooCommerce > Checkout on your WP Admin sidebar. Now, your shipping address should be enabled on your WooCommerce checkout page. Your customers can simply add their separate shipping addresses at checkout. This method allows you to enable the shipping address on your checkout forms in a few steps. While it requires using a plugin, Checkout Manager has a free version and comes with a huge number of additional features to customize your checkout page.

How much should I charge to develop a WordPress site?
Take the # of hours it takes you to do it and charge $50/hour. That's the price. Eventually you can charge $100/hour but that will require a bigger customer. If the customer is small < $1M in gross sales per year - charge $50/hour If the customer id medium < $1-5M / sales - charge $75 Over $5M - charge $100 The challenge you'll face is clearly defining the expectations and handoff so that you're not stuck doing stuff that you can charge for and always getting interrupted from past customers.DM

Does the 30% apple transaction fee apply to physical goods purchased on an app? Really need help Struggling Startup!
Apple specifically precludes anything that can't be delivered via the app from using in-app purchases. So you're free to tie a credit-card to services and real-world fees (think Uber) without paying Apple any transaction fees. Here's Apple's documentation on what they support (and don't allow) for in-app purchases. https://developer.apple.com/in-app-purchase/In-App-Purchase-Guidelines.pdf Happy to help in any way I can. What is the best reference book to develop a solid business plan for an e-commerce retail sales site?
This really depends on the type of e-commerce platform and the platform on which it is built. For my e-commerce clients, with less than 1,000 products, the best business plan reference book would be The Success Principles by Jack Canfield. However, you must first understand the triggers you would need to captivate and persuade your audience to purchase. For that, I would recommend Fascinate by Sally Hogshead. When you start to get into the larger e-commerce retail websites, you run into more dynamic data and database strategies to ensure that your website runs smoothly and can be indexed by the search engines properly. The book recommendation would depend on what platform your website is built. However, Don't Make Me Think by Steve Krug would be a good starting point as the business plan would be contingent on the flow of the website and customer purchase power. My startup just failed. What could I start to "immediately" generate $1,000/mo?
The quickest path to cash is almost always consulting. Be very specific about what it is you can offer. Don't just offer "business consulting". Find a niche and serve it. Reach out to your network, including friends and family and ask if they need or know of anyone who might want to hear about what your consulting has to offer. That will be way faster than trying to go at it from scratch or cold calling. If you call 100 people in your network this week, you will have a consulting gig within 3 weeks. Good luck, and let me know if you'd like advice on entering a digital marketing/lead generation consulting niche. I've grown from zero to $8,000 of monthly recurring payments in the last 40 days!
