I worked with a guy, who was with SKY news for 18 years, and we did a great transition for him into coaching. We discussed his strengths and weaknesses. We looked into what his passion was and created a purpose for it. I would want to work with you on who you want to serve and why. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

As a television anchor, you would have reached people – I imagine – partly through "stage presence", personal charisma, presentation and delivery. Some of those personal qualities and skills may be lost online, where text and static images dominate.
However, many online platforms lead to in-person, offline interactions. The reverse is also true, since many projects depend on offline evangelists to funnel visitors to the website.
Video or voiceover might also be an option.
This isn't to say, of course, that your only talents are those I've mentioned. But they're certainly among your talents; so why not find a way to incorporate them?

What 'soft' skills have best contributed to your success as an entrepreneur?
Whenever I think of skills, the first one I think of is people skills. I think that is the most important type of skill-set to have. Knowing how to treat and talk to people is beyond important in the workplace. When you know how to talk and treat people, it really doesn't matter what kind of product you are selling. When you make it about the person and not the product, walls fall down. Learning how to read people and get a feel for their personality has really helped too. It's a shame more management teams don't take the time to learn and teach this to their staff. I hope that helps!PC

Personal branding - using name as domain, especially when it's difficult to spell?
I face the same challenge! I came up with a separate name that still represents my brand but doesn't force users/partners/clients to try and remember my complicated name.JS

Should I absolutely use my real name for my personal brand or can I use an alias (my middle name)?
Hi Kristin! So, I take it you have your firstnamelastname.com AND firstnamemiddlename.com You can really go either way. However, whichever way you go, it needs to be on all of your branding. For legal stuff, contracts and etc - you will need to include your last name. So even if you use Kristina Blair everywhere, for legal stuff, you can add your last name so that it's Kristina Blair Colpitts. Hope that helps! Let me know, NicoleNK

I do 2 completely different things in business: weight loss and SEO/Marketing consulting. Should I keep 2 separate FB pages or combine all into 1?
Unless they are in some way related ie seo clients are weight loss focused you should keep two.KF

What are some daily rituals and habits that have been effective for you in producing results in your business?
1. Differentiate Between Days to Produce and Days to Create I pre-schedule which days (and time blocks in those days) will be for money making activities (literally those activities that are directly linked to income generation such as being on stage and speaking, in a room with my clients, closing sales, etc) versus those where I'm creating content, generating new business ideas, networking, developing marketing materials, etc. This allows me to focus on both working in it and working on it. 2. Keep a Digital Voice Recorder With Me at All Times (with a spare battery!) Ideas seem to pop up all of the time - and I used to be a "write it down" guy who ended up with a pocket full of scrap papers and post it notes. Now I just talk the idea through and record it. At the end of the week I transfer the audio files to my pc, listen to them (using a media app that lets me play them at 2x speed) and transcribe my notes to a google document. 3. Planned Days Off - No Business Allowed Being an entrepreneur takes energy. So "charging your batteries" is critical. Do things you love outside of working (even if you LOVE to work). Personally I take the day off and go fly fishing 1-2 days per month. It does wonders for clearing my head, relaxing me, and getting me prepped and ready for the week to come! These rituals and habits are things you will benefit from starting to do TODAY. You'll not only be more productive, you'll find greater joy in what you do (and have less stress).
