I have enjoying working with Sun Koo Kim for the last 1 year and 9 months at Abbott Vascular in the Design for Excellence department.
Sun trail-blazed way to create modular six sigma training modules for the R&D groups. He is well versed in History of Six Sigma, experimentation, DOE, scientific method and critical thinking. His knowledge was evident in the training modules and well presented to R&D engineers.
His passionate and sincere teaching style with humor and memorable examples helped engineers develop improved experiments and increase their process knowledge.
Sun's creation of experimental A3 templates helped engineers share their knowledge to other engineers. In some cases this has resulted in a viral spread of knowledge throughout the various products and processes. Another side effect, is the increased interest in the the training modules and promotion of continued learning, improvements, and control of the processes.

Sun would be an asset to any employer and I recommend him for any endeavor he chooses to pursue.

Sun is an excellent project leader and collaborator. He encourages a free and open exchange of ideas and is great at lending insights to help teams get "unstuck". Sun has tremendous versatility solving problems over a range of industries-- he knows how to drill down to the root of an issue and present effective countermeasures. I would welcome the opportunity to work with Sun again.

I had the pleasure of working with Sun in R&D projects and in the creation and delivery of our DOE courses. A true Evangelist, he was not only effective at influencing and coaching people, but also helped the team develop innovative ways to improve our processes. He is also a superb instructor!

During his tenure at Abbott Vascular, Sun built a large portion of the department's body of knowledge, provided valuable instruction to students on topics ranging from Agile Project Management to Design of Experiments, and provided critical support to our new product development teams.
