He is an expert in global financial infrastructure and publishes the world's leading daily newsletter on the topic "Exchange Invest" as well as "Social Impact Bond News." Former stock exchange CEO in CEE, board member of a PE fund in the region, serial non-executive, mentor & co founder of various entities. Understands finance, horeca, publishing, and many other sectors outside of pure finance!

Lectures in startups & entrepreneurship (UMK, Torun, Poland), has spoken world-wide and write a half dozen or so books. etc.

When I first met him probably close to 20 years ago, Patrick was already a leading thinker on capital market development. His ideas were fresh, and more importantly he was able to present them in such a way that at least some industry leaders were inspired to sweep away the cobwebs and dust devils that threatened to make their institutions disappear. I also find that he brings out the best in others, stimulating out-of-the-box thinking and a focus on the big issues. He has continued contributing to the forward march (more or less) of capital market institutions, and has not been afraid of taking on new challenges. Let's hope he keeps up his writing and talking so that we can all continue to profit from his wisdom.

I've always enjoyed Patrick's ideas, and it was fascinating to work with him on one of his projects -- specifically, Derivatives Vision, an online streaming and podcasting service that may, unfortunately, have been just a wee bit ahead of the curve. Still, he managed to recruit a top-noch technical and journalistic team, and to give all of us the autonomy needed to innovate within the parameters of his vision. I also attended the Exchange International Conference Monaco (EICM), which Patrick organized in September -- and found that he had attracted a diverse group of truly fascinating thinkers on the role of markets in society. It was a truly enlightening event.
