Olumide Olusanya

Olumide sat on a number of Central Bank of Nigeria’s Payment Systems Committees, including the Committee that conceptualized the National Central Switch (NCS). He has overseen the building and development of the local and international payment networks of majority of Nigeria’s Tier-1 banks and, in Q4-2003, led the team that developed the POS system that processed Nigeria's first online-realtime POS transaction. He also led the team that rolled out West Africa's first indigenously issued and processed online-realtime international payment card, Ecobank MasterCard, in Q4-2004. Olumide played a pivotal & strategic role at Cards Technology Limited (brought in as technology co-founder, then CEO), building & establishing it from its technology implementation phase leading up to its operational phase. He transformed United Bank for Africa(UBA)’s Payment Card Business in 9 months of running it. ALL of Olumide's present attention is devoted to actualizing the vision of building Nigeria's Biggest Supermarket. He and his modern-day Spartan Hoplites at Gloo.ng have sold themselves 150% to the mission of changing the way Nigeria shops for supermarket goods--by building Gloo.ng into Nigeria's
