Mike is one of the most congenial, knowledgeable and thoughtful business leaders I've ever had the good fortune with which to work. His calm demeanor and patience has often carried the day in heated discussions by helping keep team members on track, motivated and productive in moving forward, which is an extremely valuable trait I liken to the ability to "heard cats." He's also one of the rare ones who can clearly see the big picture simultaneously with plotting out the details involved in taking a new idea from "A to Z". My experience with Mike is that he can be counted upon to go the distance behind giving his word and his commitment to inclusionary practices across the board. Today he is bringing these talents to the fore by mounting a national effort of "Saving America's Black Boys Campaign" as well as his co-founding the America21 project to connect the disconnected in urban areas with STEM education for minority business development. His dedication and commitment to making a difference is intense and I count him as one of my "go-to" people for advise, counsel and continued collaborations.

I wouldn't be the professional I am today without Mike Green, and I would probably be better off if I had listened to him more. At the Ashland Daily Tidings, Mike charted the path that made our website a model for all other newspapers in the company. He pushed for innovation and the Tidings reaped the rewards. He taught me skills and lessons I put to use in my professional and personal life. I know I am not the only one to benefit from the short time I worked with Mike. Thanks again, Mr. Green.

Mike has been an open and insightful collaborator around my media entrepreneurship work. He's been generous with his connections, his insights and in promoting great talent where he sees it.

The America21 Project is a great group of collaborators eager to shape the entrepreneurial mindset of the U.S. I'm pleased to be numbered among those collaborators.

Mike Green is one of the most gifted visionary and passionate civic minded professionals I have ever known. He is perfectly suited to eloquently articulate many of the social and underlying economic challenges facing disadvantaged communities across the U.S. His ability to build consensus among divergent groups is commendable. Mike is a genuinely humble servant leader and a great source of inspiration. Go Mike!!!

After a solid year of working with Mike in a virtual environment, it would take an exhaustive list of superlatives to describe his depth of talent and leadership. Superb writing requires a superb thinker, and while his award-winning HuffPo epistles never disappoint, they only begin to peel away the layers of Mike's intellect and passions, which pour out when he's working behind the scenes as well as on the blog. This young master of the written form doesn't merely write from an isolated cubicle like a veal in a pen. I've experienced him promoting STEM education and equity right here in Pittsburgh, and within a few hours in return flight he's composed a few brilliant and compelling works on the way to a speaking engagement, then on to other conferences and venues that fruitfully engage his passions. Mike's not just a man to watch. He's a man to follow. I heartily endorse Mike Green, and will continue to work with him at every opportunity, not only for the experience, but for the inspiration.
