Michelle is the President of Polaris Lean Consulting, Inc. As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Consultant, she has lead Lean transformations and performance improvement initiatives for large organizations such as County of Riverside, Dignity Health, Palomar Health Systems, and Wanda, Inc. She has a passion for teaching and has facilitated Lean Six Sigma courses for various organizations. Her approach to the course materials, hands-on exercises, and the ability to convey principles makes for a fun learning environment.
Michelle holds an MBA from the University of Redlands and a Lean Six Sigma certification through the American Society for Quality. Michelle provides a complete innovative systems approach and management consulting services by specializing in process re-engineering and improvement techniques that allow organizations to realize cost savings, improved quality, and enhance the customer experience. She has the proven capability to manage complex business operations and transform organizational culture.
Michelle has held leadership positions with the American Society for Quality (ASQ) which included Coordinator for the Healthcare Divisions Technical Programs and Team Lead for the Healthcare Book of Knowledge (HBOK). In the past, Michelle has been a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Coach with Dignity Health and Mentor at the University of Redlands.
In her spare time, Michelle actively volunteers for non-profit organizations which support children’s causes. She enjoys the outdoors, hockey, and is an avid sailor having crewed around the world.
