Throughout my career, I have excelled in several projects consisting of leading a group of inexperienced personnel to perform at high levels to accomplish the organizational goals. I was able to accomplish this by getting the entire team on board with the mission of the organization, emphasizing training, and listening to my team. From running divisions on a US nuclear submarine, to manufacturing transfer projects, the teams I've led have exceeded performance expectations.
For the last 7 years, I have been a leader in problem solving and root cause analysis for various organizations. Through this experience in several industries I have seen these methodologies applied in many different ways. My time in these roles has shown me that while most problems are unique, finding effective solutions to them can be accomplished through the application of general principles. I am also a Certified Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt.
