I have the highest respect for Melissa and learned a lot about managing projects, clients and teams while working with her. You can tell a lot about a person in difficult situations and Melissa would handle them in a calm, cool and collected manner with a solutions oriented approach. I look forward to the opportunity to be able to work with her again.
Source: LinkedIn Nick DeDominic Jul 26, 2013Melissa was an outstanding mentor and leader during her time at ipsh. Her exceptional ability to balance the rigors of managing a digital production team, establish agency strategies, and build processes set the stage for many campaign successes. Her attention to detail, calm demeanor and effective communication style are all traits that set her apart from her peers. I would highly-recommend her for a senior leadership position and would invite the opportunity to work with her again in the future.
Source: LinkedIn Brandon Viveiros Jul 26, 2013Melissa is one of the best Project Managers I have ever worked with. She has a great eye for detail and the big picture. She is a phenomenal communicator and exceptional at getting teams to jell. While working with us she built strongs relationship with our clients (and our engineers) almost immediately. She's also may be one of the nicest people on the planet and a pleasure to collaborate with.
Source: LinkedIn Kevin Butts Jul 26, 2013Melissa is one of the brightest, hardest working people I know. She has a great attitude, and is an amazing person, both personally and professionally. I shy away from referring people for jobs within companies I work for, as the person you're referring reflects directly on you. I don't vouch for just anyone, but Melissa is someone I will vouch for time and time again, with no worries about how she's reflect on me. I'd love to work with Melissa again, and can only imagine how far she can go.
Source: LinkedIn Curtis Calhoun Jul 26, 2013I thoroughly enjoyed reporting to Melissa during my tenure at Domino Developer Network. Melissa focussed mainly on the product that we were delivering at the company, hosted services for a rather large Domino development community. Melissa was excellent at enhancing the various internal and customer facing administration applications of the business based on customer input. She also was looked to providing input to our customers to enhance their own applications on a consultant-type basis.
As a manager, she provided the support that I required in order to be successful at my job, providing clear guidance on any new features or functionality of the applications I would end up supporting in my role.
Being a start-up, Domino Developer Network required an all-hands-on-deck approach on a daily basis. Melissa was incredible at balancing the multiple hats she was required to wear being vice president and senior developer, as well as helping with various administration tasks.
Source: LinkedIn chuck outcalt Jul 26, 2013Melissa is extremely talented in everything she does. I felt so blessed that she was recommended by a member of my team as after meeting and interviewing her, it was obvious why she is so highly thought of. Without hesitation, it would be wonderful to work with, for or have her reporting to me again. She is incredibly bright, hard-working, pays attention to details and cares deeply about providing excellent customer and client service. Melissa is one of those rare individuals with the unique ability to dive extremely deep into the details, while seeing strategically where an organization should be heading. She is skilled at developing the roadmap on how to get there. She pinpoints it perfectly. She is logical, rational, and extremely dependable, never leaving any task unfinished. Her comprehensive skills, depth and breadth of capabilities, and her ability to successfully work outside her comfort zone, with sound rationale, are unmatched. Her high quality is consistent, her contribution unequaled. Knowing how skilled she was as a developer, and hearing how she's grown into project, product, operations, etc., management - I believe there is not anything Melissa isn't capable of doing - she truly is a keeper.
