I met Mark sometime ago via Twitter, even before I had read his books he proved that being authentically helpful certainly drives results.
Most recently I invited Mark to be a speaker to a huge audience at an IBM event held in Ireland. Mark delivered a plenary talk on the "Return on Influence" and also delivered two sessions on "Six Layers of Engagement". Mark's content and delivery style really brought the topics to life. Of the weeks sessions, the feedback provided put his sessions as one of the strongest.
Here are some of the comments:
“Inspirational session. Could listen to Mark endlessly. Was disappointed when this session was over. Really excellent”
“Excellent, one of the highlights of this year's conference. This man has his finger on the pulse of what is really happening with web enabled business, and in particular sales and marketing. He's years ahead of anyone I've heard speak on the topic before. IBM's social media strategy/policy makers would do well to take a crash course from him in effective ways of using the web and social media to engage with customers and prospect”
“Excellent . Mark Schaefer really did it for me this year! Has changed the way I look at the tools now, and finally got me to sign up for Twitter - and even tweeting! :)”
There would be no hesitation, from me, to anyone thinking about hiring Mark. Someone I am delighted to call a friend.
