Making a Splash for a Cause

One of the biggest challenges non profits face is engaging the public in caring about their cause. It is no surprise that because of the self centered, high paced world that we live in people are often too busy to be paying attention to the problems society is plagued with but there is a way to grab attention and really get people excited to play a part in something bigger than them. I always felt non profits needed better marketing and messaging and well I put my effort and time where my mouth was with a great success track record in this field.

History Remembers Leaders Not Aristocrats or the Bourgeoisies

To be a true leader is to stand for something well beyond the scope of oneself but to truly adopt a "We" mentality towards a common cause. The power of the collective flag and a strong leader dedicated to facing the challenges is the definition of a real life Superhero and we all know the world could use a few more of those. I teach people how to truly be leaders - to take hold of a movement and become the face of a cause something an organization I started has begun to do in the world of Sustainability.

My conversation with Marc was invigorating. He was kind and understanding and yet his advice was bold, direct and specific. He was confident in his analysis of my problem and offered solutions that required ACTION now. I asked for brutal honesty but know now that he would have presented his viewpoint in no other way.
