A few years ago I read the Tipping Point. In it, Malcolm Gladwell discusses connectors: those social “hubs” that disseminate key information and facilitate relationships. I remember reading this and thinking, “That sounds just like Lynda.” Through events like VIDfest and her seemingly tireless efforts in the community, it’s clear that Lynda is one of a critical few who are transforming Vancouver into a digital media destination.
