Management

I have a few degrees in management, including a MBA. I've also managed multiple departments to include Accounting, Quality, IT, and Purchasing.

I look at people, performance, and metrics. I will work with you to do the same. In management, you are responsible for particular results, and you will achieve those results through the people you manage. We can look at goal setting, training, improving morale, increasing engagement, succession planning, and the other factors that go into successfully managing people and achieving high performance.

Business Strategy

I have a MBA in Management and Strategy. I've also watched companies double in size annually with proper strategy and nearly fade out of existence when they executed the wrong strategy.

We will get clear on what your strategy is and how it relates to the marketplace. How you differ from competitors, how you will differentiate from competitors, and what proper execution looks like. We will determine the metrics for success.

This can be a very general conversation about concepts and theory, or we can get very detailed and talk about different functional areas of the business, how each supports the overall strategy, departmental performance, changes, etc.

Company Culture

I've had the privilege of working for a company that grew rapidly and continues to do well to this day. One that struggled, always struggled, and never changed. And lastly, another company that did extraordinarily well, changed ownership, and then plummeted into the abyss.

What was the difference? It wasn't external conditions, like the marketplace or economy. It was company culture.

A strong, positive company culture will drive impressive business results. A mediocre company culture will....you get the drift.

I will help you define company culture, assess your current company culture, design and (importantly) implement the new culture to drive the results you want to achieve. Increase productivity. Decrease turnover. Increase profitability. It's all possible if you choose to set the proper environment.
