Mechanical engineering student @ Cape peninsula university of technology , Mathematics and Science tutor , shopping addict , Passionate about health and fitness.
I am a mechanical engineering, female student who took 2 years to be enrolled in my desired career space after a few setbacks. It has not been easy embarking on this journey as it is male dominated, which can be intimidating and discouraging. I have managed to be strong throughout the difficulties ( academically and socially ). I have a strategy I use to keep going and always remember the reason I chose this specific journey. Nothing is impossible, even when it seems far, it is doable.
It is known that South Africa is one of the best countries to travel to when looking for variety. From the culture to the places, etc. I have been a citizen in the country, my whole life and have travelled to 6 provinces out of 9. I have discovered that the tourism in each province differs based on the location ( coastal / inland areas) and history, I therefore can provide adequate and relevaant information about the country.
Operating machinery in the gym can be daunting, especially for beginners who are without a personal trainer. I have been a member of the gym for 4 years currently and I remember exactly how my first days felt like. They were not so good and some days I would skip workouts because of being scared of embarassing myself. As time went by everything got easier and I was able to operate the machines without watching a couple of videos on the internet.
Decorating your home every now and then as a change of scenery can make you feel good and when you feel good, you do good. It might be a lot more costly to renovate the whole house than to decorate and remove and a few items. I am no interior designer but I certainly love my space neat and minimal. I believe I have the skill to work with what I have and turn it into magic , just like the image attached.
