Very technical founder who is equally at home on the business side of startups.
I love working on marketplaces because they often help to push aside the worst actors in the market that are not creating value! I've observed that where the majority of marketplace startups run into issues is in **not dealing head-on with the chicken-egg problem inherent in 2-sided businesses**. Solving this issue for a marketplace is the single most important task in the early stages. I've helped startups solve this in the past through use-case analysis, creative strategies of sourcing inventory backfill, and more.
I co-founded one of the very first over-the-top mobile application networks (EQO.com) which was the first Skype-like calling service for mobile phones, launched at DEMO in early 2006. Since then I've helped a number of startups to define and build mobile their mobile apps and related products.
Jeff was awesome in providing the right amount of insight we needed in regards to POS systems, saved us a ton of time. Getting to hear his early entrepreneurship war stories was also very much worth the call!
