I don't talk about it unless i've done it - too many people talk about theory in the social media world. I have dozens of side projects that keep me current as well as being an expert problem solver - have worked on some of the more complex, demanding briefs answering big name brand problems.
Some of the projects i've worked on over the past few years include the social media strategy for London 2012 and campaigns for brands such as L'Oreal, Microsoft, Chanel, Xbox, Disney, The FA, Chevrolet, Fulham FC, Starbucks, Coca Cola, Mastercard and many others.
I'm also the founder of social media influencer marketing agency SocialTalent.co.uk - in our first year we worked with clients such as Microsoft, Redbull, The FA & Apple.
Back in 2009 clients told me "You can't track ROI in social media or actually make money on twitter". I launched TwitJobs (which I sold in 2015) which was one of the first monetisation examples on Twitter and gained over 500,000 followers and an average organic engagement rate of 18.5% with zero advertising spend.
