It is with great pleasure to be able to reccomend James Chapman for any professional business opportunity. I've worked with James extensively on many past projects as well as day to day operations when he was employed as a District Manager for FedEx Office. At the time, I was in Field Technology and worked hand in hand with James to move the company forward. James always looked at positive solutions to whatever issue was at hand, which led to greater buy in from company personnel and invariably successful results.
James took the time to get to know not only the inticacies of the business, but also the people who made up the business. He was able to strategically place indivduals to get the most out of them which resulted in developed team members who were successful in their own right and moved upward in the company through promotion. It is due to Jim's people leadership and development that this was able to take place. He clearly understands that people make up companies and it shows through his focus on them.
In addition, James' insight into the details of the business was developed through years of hard work and dedication. Because of this diligence, James was hand picked by company leadership to take on a newly created district and to lead them to success. Using his experience he was able to make the right decisions to move his district forward in company metrics due to the fact that he knew what actions were necessary to move them in the positive direction.
James was always a model of the right behavior for his team. He was able to demonstrate "what good looks like", making it easier for his team to develop the right behaviors. His focus on customers was always present and showed that he was always looking out for their best interest by providing the most appropriate solution for them.
I've always admired James and his positive outlook in any situaiton, which has helped to mold me into a better business professional as well. Any organization would be very fortunate to have James on their team and I highly recommend him.
