Established leader with 15+ years of Research and Development experience in academia and industry. I have worked directly and indirectly, as an independent consultant, in a variety of companies in the lifescience and healthcare space. I have been involved in projects with small startups, large biotechs, big pharma as well as different goverment agencies. Strong background on Early Discovery projects involving automation and screening of small molecules and biologics as well as API manufacturing.

My work has contributed to multiple patents and scientific publications in high-profile international journals in addition to the development/progression of different compounds to clinical trials.

As the Chief Scientific Officer in my current position I work closely with other senior executives, the board and CEOs to establish an strategic growth vision for the company considering. I am involved in evaluating market/scientific trends, potential acquisitions, the competitive landscape and potential ROI of new projects.
