Over 30 years in the design business has afforded a broad perspective of the design landscape across technological trails and customer revolutions. I’ve spent years giving students the basic design principles and tools and later helping them apply these concepts to real-world products. The idea is to understand how design principles of unity and rhythm literally direct the emergence of all great design. Going beyond product-based solutions and more towards design process solutions will make any project beyond the one in front of you more fulfilling, more successful and with a far better chance for visual integration of your brand components.
