Hamir is a McKinsey- and BCG-trained consultant who provides strategy, innovation, due diligence, program management, and business development services to Global 2000 clients, Private Equity firms, and well established consulting companies. Hamir has nearly twenty years of experience in business strategy, technology optimization and enterprise transformation across a number of industries including Pharma/Healthcare, Fin. Svcs,, Cons Goods/Retail, High-Tech, Energy, and Manufacturing.
Over the course of his career, Hamir has had the opportunity to consult to 80+ different firms at the CxO level, on 140+ projects, across a range of functions and business areas in 20+ countries spanning six continents. He typically works solo or on teams of ex-McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Booz and AT Kearney consultants.
In the past he has served as the SVP for Professional Services at GenuOne, Inc. – a provider of supply chain tracking software and services (now acquired by Opsec, Inc). Prior to that he served as a Vice President for Lavastorm, Inc. – a global leader in business analytics software.
Earlier, Hamir gained nearly six years business strategy experience as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co. and as a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He played an instrumental role in building BCG's Electronic Commerce practice and was a founding member of McKinsey & Company's Business Technology Office – a practice that went on to grow to more than 500 consultants worldwide in less than five years. He joined McKinsey as an associate focused on strategy and operations consulting for several leading clients in the Life Sciences, Industrial and Financial Services sector. Throughout his career he has worked for exceptional companies like Cambridge Technology Partners, Gartner Group and IBM.
Hamir holds a MBA in Finance and a M.Eng. in OR&IE from Cornell University. He also earned a M.S. in Computer Science from Penn State. His undergraduate degree in EE is from India.
