I am an independent management consultant and deeply experienced Lean practitioner with a proven track record for leading enterprise-wide transformations, delivering improved performance and sustaining growth. Previously I served as a Lean Expert at McKinsey & Company. During my five years with McKinsey’s Americas Operations practice, I worked with clients in the financial services space on a variety of lean management topics, including capability building and executive coaching on continuous improvement principles, systems and tools.
Prior to joining McKinsey in 2011, I led the Lean Six Sigma organization within GE Healthcare IT in the role of Master Lean Leader, with particular focus on coaching and mentoring teams within the enabling functions of finance, HR, legal, and operations. Before this, I also served as a Lean transformation leader in the aerospace and automotive industries, an experience spanning more than 15 years across multiple Dow 30 companies.
I have an MBA in Supply Chain Management and Finance from Michigan State University, and a Master of Science in Engineering Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Further, I am a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Outside of work, I enjoy serving as a basketball referee and living in Phoenix, AZ with my wonderful family.
