Super helpful! Very "smart" thought process. Will be calling again soon.
Source: Clarity Iman Sakka Apr 23, 2018Eugene delivered clear, concise, relevant, and actionable information. My call with him was very valuable.
Source: Clarity greg weinstein Apr 21, 2017Eugene was very helpful, giving me some excellent advice and insights to help execute my vision.
Source: Clarity Ara Kevonian Mar 22, 2016Excellent and very fruitful conversation with Eugene. He was able to analyze my idea and to re-articulate it in a way which creates more value for the different stake-holders. A great call!
Source: Clarity Christian Baudry Mar 25, 2014Eugene is one of a very few game executives who understands both the art and science of rolling out a MMO globally, having done so twice (DAOC and Warhammer Online). Eugene shown in his ability to get results with alien cultures: with foreign licensees, of course, for one, and also from the boxed-game corporate cultures of Vivendi and EA, which had relatively little or no sympathy with the make-or-break service elements of a MMO. His thoroughly professional execution at Infinite on a multiple-title license and development project with me was, by comparison, a modest accomplishment to the MMO rollouts.
Source: LinkedIn Eric Goldberg Apr 28, 2013Eugene is a bright, thoughtful, positive, reasoned and reasonable pro. He's win-win oriented, knows when to say yes and when to say no. A comfortable team player as well as a reliable solo act. And as if that weren't enough...terrific sense of humor.
Source: LinkedIn Stephen Gass Apr 28, 2013I have known Eugene for a long time. About 1980 he started working for us at Microdigital, an early computer store, on his Saturdays and holidays. He was in his mid teens then. Later I was a consultant to Bug Byte where he worked and then we worked together at Imagine. We have kept in touch ever since.
So Eugene has been steeped in the home computing industry and video gaming since the early days. To this vast experience you can add a sharp intelligence, the ability to work hard (whilst still having fun) and good social skills. But mostly you have to admire his ability to put all his effort behind measured risks, which has done him a great deal of good. If you are not making risks then you are not making anything.
The best way I can write a recommendation for Eugene is to list the adjectives that come to mind when I think about him after having worked with him for 4 years. They are as follows:
Personable, dedicated, caring, a team player, highly knowledgeable of the games industry, insightful, reliable, trustworthy; a co-worker that became a good friend.
Source: LinkedIn Mark Gagne Apr 28, 2013Eugene is a true collaborator and mentor. He gets the best out of people, with an easy-going style that fills one with confidence. He is practical, responsible, good at figuring out the best way to get something done; he's a great strategist and problem-solver. He's a colleague and friend, to whom I turn to for advice and counsel. I recommend him highly!
Source: LinkedIn Melinda Fishman Jones Apr 28, 2013I've known Eugene for over 15 years, and I have always been impressed by his intellect, honesty and integrity. He also has a keen ability to understand advanced technology and ascertain the commercial potential of various technologies. It was an honor to have worked with Eugene and I am proud to call him my friend.
