I'm a leader and consultant with 12+ years of experience in the fields of customs and international trade compliance, automated solutions, and process improvement. I started my career with the U.S. Department of Commerce Foreign Commercial Service, advised Fortune 100 clients at Deloitte, managed international trade projects at Apple, built a global compliance team at Facebook, and am currently the head of Global Trade Compliance at the disruptive sustainable apparel startup Everlane. I obtained by U.S. Customs Broker License in 2008 and have deep expertise in import and customs compliance, export compliance, international trade processes optimization, duty and tariff mitigation strategies, global trade management software management and implementation, and compliance organization management. I have experience with the following regulators: Customs and Border Protection ("CBP"), Bureau of Industry and Security ("BIS"), Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC"), International Traffic in Arms Regulations ("ITAR").
