Dave is a special individual when it comes to the game of baseball and those who have been around him refer to Dave as a product in himself. His knowledge of the game of baseball goes further than you can imagine.
Dave has coached baseball at a high level since the early 1990s. After winning a National Championship his senior year At Elon University in 1981, he decided to take his passion for the game of baseball to the next level. His presence was quickly felt as he became a head varsity coach in his home state of New Jersey. He soon won New Jersey Coach of the Year in 1998 and took a role in the New Jersey Coaches Association.
In the early 2000s, Dave became a scout in the Kansas City Royals organization and in 2005, he graduated from Major League Baseball Scout School. Dave has been a college recruiting coordinator and big league scout since.
With his extensive experience and vast knowledge of the game, Dave has formulated a singular platform for evaluating talent. In doing so, he has been able to create Building Baseball Careers and 7 Tool Athletics.
