Over 18 years of textiles experience in sourcing globally recognized woven & knitted apparel brands like Levi’s, Sonoma, Croft & Barrow, Urban Pipeline, Tailor & Sons, Authentic, etc. Experience includes complete supply chain management with a lean team and developing strong source base.
• Presently serving as Strategic Sourcing Specialist and Consultant. Responsible for leading & executing consulting projects in textile industry for clients based in US, UK & Switzerland. Projects completed lately are Supply Chain Due Diligence, Creating Cost Effective Supply Chain & Denim Sourcing From Emerging Locations.
• Prior to above, served as Senior Manager – Product Development & Sourcing at Levi Strauss & Co. Responsible for the entire Supply Chain Management of the brand Levi’s. Grew business from US$ 120m to to US$ 170m by creating a winning team and developing a strategically important source base.
• Prior to above, had been working as Senior Manager Buying at a Europe based multinational Cash & Carry store, Metro Cash & Carry’s - Pakistan office, to establish a sustainable retail business for private labels as well as national labels. Grew business from US$ 2m to to US$ 10m by creating a winning team and developing complete assortment season on season, backed by a strong source base, to meet / exceed business objectives.
• Prior to above, served as Merchandise Manager at one of the largest global trading company, Li & Fung. Responsible for product development & sourcing of few of the Brands owned by Kohl’s Department Stores, a US based chain of departmental stores and a customer of Li & Fung. Grew business from US$ 4m to to US$ 22m by creating a winning team and developing a strategically important source base.
