This recommendation is for Dan's exceptional abilities in direct person-to-person marketing. He has remarkable natural abilities, to complement an active interest in testing and improving practices, and vastly exceeded my expectations.

Dan is an old friend from high school who recently got in touch with me about a political outreach event I was organizing, in which a group of us traveled to Nevada during the weeks leading up to the 2012 Presidential election to improve turnout among Barack Obama supporters.

Though he had the least direct political experience of anyone in our group, he was twice to three times as effective at collecting signed supporter cards than our other supporters. He worked more quickly, and over the course of the first weekend, continued to hone his message to best tailor it to the supporters and generate results. On the second day of work, he received 8 signed pledge cards on a day no one else collected more than two, and also collected additional information about potential voters that had eluded us on our lists. By the end of the trip, Dan was helping our other supporters (many more informed and experienced than him in political work) tailor their message more appropriately, and delivered exceptional results and built tremendous morale among our group.

Daniel Flood as volunteered on many occasions to teach WordPress and SEO to the students at SDSU. After going through the workshop, I was able to quickly navigate and design a WordPress website that looked professional and user friendly.
