Might want to think about having a small physical footprint to keep square foot costs low (maybe a booth instead of a storefront, for instance) for starters. Might also want to think of packaged programs (i.e. $19.99 for a set up of 3 social media apps on a device, a 10 minute tutorial, and a 2-page handout) so that you have something very specific and tangible to sell. Seems like a good idea if you can get in a small space with a lot of foot traffic. Have you thought about the all-important question of who you DON'T want to sell/market to?
Craig was the lead facilitator for the Common Ground Founding Members focus group. He led a diverse group of professionals in a several hour focus group that resulted in many important new insights for Common Ground. Craig put everyone at ease and in the brainstorming mindset with his relaxed, friendly demeanor. We will certainly look to use Craig’s facilitation skills again.
Craig was brought in to advise our group on public relations and specifically our interactions with the media. He delivered a seminar that was lean and efficient in its transfer of skills and knowledge to his audience. He was consistently professional and reliable throughout the entire experience.
I have had the opportunity to get to know Craig over the last couple of years working together on the Atlantic Provinces Chamber of Commerce Urban Chamber Caucus and the Board of Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada. Craig is a pleasure to work with. I truly value the advice and ideas he has provided me on policy issues.
Straightforward. Measured. Fearless. An executive thinker, planner, writer, and strategist. Humour, insight, visioning, curiosity, healthy skepticism, diligence and determination are his tools. Thorough on the research, smart on the analysis, succinct on the reporting. That's Craig.
Craig is a thoughtful, ethical, dynamic and resourceful leader in the business community of St. John's. I have had many opportunities to interact with Craig in his capacity as VP of Policy and Communications at the Board of Trade, and am impressed with his quick grasp of complex issues and his ability to make these issues relevant to the broad membership of the Board. His abilities as a networker may only be exceeded by his quick wit. Craig is approachable and respectful of diverse perspectives on issues.
I was impressed with Craig Ennis over several years working together in support of the St. John's Board of Trade. Craig is a strategic thinker with an excellent grasp of public policy and communications. I still seek and value his advice today.
I've known Craig since 2007 when he was my maternity leave replacement at the Genesis Centre. Craig is a very dedicated individual who puts 110% into everything he does. In his role at the Board of Trade, he works hard to ensure that the voice of the business community is heard by all levels of government.
