Brian Ballance has over 30 years of midstream experience in the energy industry, from the wellhead to the distribution network. Brian started with Amoco Chemicals in their olefin complex, then moved to Enterprise Products. At Enterprise, Brian had positions of increasing responsibility, including leading the engineering group and managing different operating organizations within Enterprise. He managed the operation of the Mont Belvieu plant, storage and pipeline complex, and managed Enterprise's major long haul pipelines. During this time, Brian led the engineering group on many major plant and pipeline projects, on time and within budget, and reorganized the operating organizations for greater safety, productivity and efficiency. Brian also worked in the gas storage business, worked as Director of Engineering at Plains All American over their stabilizer and gas plant operation, and was Technical Director of a sour natural gas gathering and processing plant.
Brian has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Houston.
