enthusiasm. I'll never forget during one of his pep talks to the staff that
he said, "hit the ball to me", and I knew I would never forget that feeling in my body of wanting the ball hit to me! He won me over on that one!
The "great communicator" that is my best way of describing Barry. We met many years ago at KCTS and have since collaborated on projects together. He's smart and creative. A genius at marketing communications and brand development. I highly recommend Barry Martin.

Barry is one of those rare people in advertising who really understands what communicating with customers, clients and prospects is all about. With every opportunity I pursued with him, he was always thinking about what the customer or prospect truly needed, and what was the best way to provide that, given the restraints of time, budget and other resources. Surprisingly, an ad campaign was seldom the first solution to a communications challenge that Barry addressed. Barry is familiar with the whole spectrum of media and thinks strategically about how to use and apply them. He was the first person I met who understood that the new media, including the Web, digital television and other forms, could and should be used to establish a communications partnership with each client or prospective customer. This would allow people to receive the information they wanted about products and services when they wanted it, and how they wanted it. In the years since he and I last worked together, I have not encountered his equal in understanding the strategic use of media for marketing purposes.

Barry developed and executed a brilliant branding strategy for our independent specialty DVDs. The REAL RAW FAST brand encompassed a variety of drift racing, street racing, and hip hop inspired titles. The TOTAL MIND & BODY line of fitness DVDs was comprised of Yoga, Pilates, aerobics titles. All enjoyed wide distribution and brisk sales.
