I got to know Andy while serving as an adviser for the Business Builders Club at The Ohio State University. Andy had the unusual title of Chief Connector, and I must say he lived the role. Andy has a a rare gift for connecting with people, and an amazing ability to recognize potential for new connections in his circle. He's introduced me to wonderful people I never would have found on my own, and expanded my understanding of networking and collaboration. Andy is a one-man ideation engine, and I see more and more of his ideas taking shape in his work. Andy Sparks is unquestionably a person I would choose to work with. Sparks' greatest strength is his strategic thinking model. I often refer to him as the Architect because he is able to assess a problem and build a plan that strategically resolves the issues. My recommended growth area for Sparks is that he speak up more often and share his thoughts. To be a stronger leader he needs to be more vocal about his thoughts and concerns. Sparks second strength is his ability to get things done. He devotes himself to the project's outcome and will not rest until the desired result has been achieved and exceeded.
